ALICE Training Institute
Omnium has adopted ALICE®, the nation’s leading active shooter response training program, renowned for its proactive approach that extends beyond the traditional lock-down-only methods. This program emphasizes the active countering of threats as they unfold. We have implemented ALICE Basic Certification Training, which is mandatory for team members assigned to schools, houses of worship, and high-risk environments, ensuring preparedness. Additionally, selected personnel undergo further training to become ALICE Certified Instructors, enhancing our team’s overall readiness and response capabilities.
FBI Pistol Qualification
Every armed Associate must qualify with their firearm immediately after being hired and prior to being assigned to a client site.
To ensure Omnium Protection Group maintains the highest quality training standards, all armed Security Associates must qualify semi-annually with their firearm utilizing a modified FBI qualifications course, administered by our NRA Certified Firearms Instructors.
Firearms Training: Mastery Beyond Necessity
Firearms, while crucial, are tools we hope never to deploy. Yet, in the event of their necessity, our team is meticulously trained to handle these situations with precision and decisiveness. We understand there is no margin for error.
Annual Qualification and Continuous Proficiency
In line with our commitment to perfection, every team member undergoes an annual qualification process, based on a modified version of the FBI’s Pistol Qualification Course. Furthermore, quarterly training sessions are mandatory, ensuring ongoing proficiency and readiness. At Omnium, excellence is not just a goal; it’s a continuous journey.
Active Shooter Engagement
Rigorously prepares first-on-scene responders with vital tactical skills for effective operation in the extreme conditions of an active shooter situation. This specialized training focuses on navigating a hostile environment teeming with civilians, where an assailant aims to cause maximum harm rapidly. Acknowledging the unique severity of these scenarios, we ensure our response strategies are as extraordinary as the situations they are designed for.
Tactical Emergency
Casualty Care
- This course teaches practitioners how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment and presents the three phases of tactical care.
- Hot Zone/Direct Threat Care that is rendered while under attack or in adverse conditions.
- Warm Zone/Indirect Threat Care that is rendered while the threat has been suppressed but may resurface at any point.
Cold Zone/Evacuation Care that is rendered while the casualty is being evacuated from the incident site.
Miscellaneous Training: Diverse Learning for Comprehensive Excellence

Active Shooter Engagement
Exposes first-on-scene responders to the tactical skills necessary to operate successfully in the unique tensions of an active shooter setting – a hostile environment, populated by large numbers of civilians, with an Active Killer attempting to achieve the highest body count possible in the shortest amount of time. This is not a normal event, nor is the response.
Behavioral Analysis: Sharpening Instincts into Strategic Insights
This specialized training equips our Associates with the necessary tools and skills to effectively assess potential threats within their operational environments. Transforming natural intuition into actionable intelligence enables Associates to clearly define Suspicion Indicators and Adversary Methods of Operation. Such proficiency amplifies their ability to identify threats with greater efficiency and to communicate their assessments with precision. By integrating behavioral analysis into our operational framework, we significantly enhance our threat mitigation capabilities.
