Omnium is exceptionally proud to have created a custom-designed On-Line Learning Management System known as ADAPTS – A Developmental and Professional Training System. ADAPTS is where employees receive their initial, in-service, and specialty training at Omnium.
During the onboarding process, each employee is assigned specific mandatory training modules to complete. The modules include videos, PowerPoint presentations, White Papers, articles, and other related material.
Upon successfully completing each module, a certificate is automatically generated and uploaded to the employee’s file. Omnium can also forward each certificate to our partner for their records as well. Mandatory Courses include Omnium’s philosophy and importance of the following core principles:
- Punctuality
- Appearance Guidelines
- Customer Service Skills
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication
- Brand Awareness and Protection
- Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
- Discrimination Awareness and Prevention
- Unconscious Bias: Preventing Stereotypes in Decision Making
- Active Shooter Awareness
- Advanced Vehicle Search
- Bomb Threats and Pipe Bombs
- Conflict Resolutions
- Crowd Management
- Information Gathering
- Report Writing
- New Employee HSE
- Public Building Security Screening
- Terrorism Surveillance and Counter Surveillance
- Workplace Violence
- Disaster Management

- identifying Security Threats and Pattern

In addition to classroom instruction, Omnium personnel receives training using the MILO Range interactive simulator, the international standard for interactive use of force, tactical judgment training, and firearms training. They are the world-leading training simulator for all branches of law enforcement, military, security, and public safety agencies throughout the United States and the world.

FBI Pistol Qualification
Every armed Associate must qualify with their firearm immediately after being hired and prior to being assigned to a client site.
To ensure Omnium Protection Group maintains the highest quality training standards, all armed Security Associates must qualify semi-annually with their firearm utilizing a modified FBI qualifications course, administered by our NRA Certified Firearms Instructors.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
This course, patterned after law enforcement training, prepares the Security Associate to treat traumatic injuries caused by firearms or edged weapons and familiarizes the Associate with the following:
- Lifesaving products like QuikClot®, compression bandages, and tourniquets
- Learn how to control bleeding by CAT, SWAT, and SOF Tourniquet applications
- Learn how to treat a sucking chest wound
- Learn basic First Aid including eye injuries
- Learn how to maintain an airway
- Learn basic carries for injured people
Miscellaneous Training
Omnium believes there is no greater investment in our employees than quality training. In addition to the mandatory training each employee receives, Omnium hosts a number of additional training programs throughout each year on a varying degree of topics. We frequently invite members of our client’s staff at no cost to them.
Active Shooter Engagement
Exposes first-on-scene responders to the tactical skills necessary to operate successfully in the unique tensions of an active shooter setting – a hostile environment, populated by large numbers of civilians, with an Active Killer attempting to achieve the highest body count possible in the shortest amount of time. This is not a normal event, nor is the response.
Predictive Profiling
Provides security and law enforcement officers with the tools and skills to effectively assess threats in their operational environments. Trainees come out with the ability to articulate “gut feeling” into clear definitions of Suspicion Indicators and Adversary’s Methods of Operations allowing the organization to avoid liability issues and increase overall threat mitigation capabilities.
